The Flag Festival is the identity event of Pueblo Belgrano, which dresses in light blue and white to receive thousands of people who will enjoy a great national day.
The protocol event will bring together more than 300 4th Grade students from different schools in the region, who will gather to make their Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, a historical ritual by which the feeling of nationality and respect for the national colors is affirmed. . In the same way, soldiers who join the Army will do the same, swearing loyalty to our greatest national symbol.
Formations from the National Gendarmerie, Argentine National Prefecture, Entre Ríos Police, Argentine Federal Police, Pueblo General Belgrano Firefighters, Gualeguaychú Firefighters, Penal Unit No. 9, Malvinas War Veterans and Family Members, intermediate and ecclesiastical institutions will also participate in the event. and historical neighbors of the town.
Later, the largest Civic-Military Parade in Entre Ríos will take place. More than 25 educational institutions, battalions of soldiers, military vehicles and fire brigades will arrive from different parts of the Province to be part of it. More than 20 Gaucho Groups will also join in, who on horseback anticipate the staging of the Jujuy Exodus by neighbors, that maneuver devised by Manuel Belgrano to withdraw the troops and population of Jujuy in the direction of Tucumán.
Other attractions
As happens every year, after the formal ceremony and the parade, another of the great attractions is the gastronomic offer, where the aromas coming from the different food stalls capture the attention of visitors throughout the day, with a great variety of Typical meals prepared by public welfare entities and NGOs from Pueblo Belgrano.
In addition, the Festival will have two stages: one located in the field prepared for the Creole Skills, in which payadores and singers provide the perfect setting for a day in the best traditionalist style. On the other hand, the main stage offers a variety of musical proposals and traditional dance groups.
In the same way, the Fair of Local Artisans and Producers becomes the main attraction of the afternoon, with its wide range of products typical of the daily work of the stall holders; to visit as a family, give a gift or take a souvenir.
As is a classic at every Flag Festival, the organization offers visitors more than 500 cups of hot chocolate prepared and served in the military field kitchen accompanied by freshly made fried cakes.
In all areas of the Municipality of Pueblo Belgrano, intense work is being done on the organization and coordination of the Festival, which promises to welcome thousands of neighbors and the general public to enjoy the national day.
