This Saturday, there will be raffles every hour, workshops, eco-swaps, fairs, environmental Olympics and will feature a visit from the actor and activist Facundo Arana

For World Environment Day that was celebrated this week, a mega event will be held this Saturday in Tucumán that will feature the presence of the renowned environmental activist Facundo Arana and the influencer Laila Ali.

From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., World Environment Day is celebrated at the Palacio de los Deportes with free entry. This day promotes environmental care with various activities designed to raise awareness among attendees about the importance of protecting our planet.

There will be prize draws every hour, workshops, environmental Olympics, a science fair, an eco fair, kermes and eco exchange.

There will also be shows and a performance by the Separá band with instruments made from recycled materials.

To lower the carbon footprint in Tucumán, those who wish to participate have line 19 and the city’s tourist bus for free transfers.

With line 19, the departure is from Parque Avellaneda at 2 and 3:30 p.m., and from Plaza Urquiza at 2:20 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Return from the Sports Palace at 7 p.m. And with the Tourist Bus, at 11 and 4 p.m. from Plaza Independencia.
