The company Metroline Stationswhich is one of the largest creditors of the entity of the mass transportation system of Bucaramangadid not accept the proposal to pay the debt that this service has 430,000 million.

This could be a green light for liquidation begins of this system that has been broken for years and with a precarious service to all areas of Bucaramanga and the metropolitan area.

In a circular the creditor informed that he did not accept this proposal to clean up finances.

The statement says that on May 15, the legal representative of Metrolínea sent a proposal to offer a payment of a single sum with a value of 15,374 264,621 pesos with the purpose of outlining the obligations within the arbitration award.

Although this agreement was not accepted, the entity leaves the door open to carry out another negotiation.

Metroline calls a meeting with the mayors of Bucaramanga, Floridablanca, Piedecuesta and Girón to establish a roadmap and look for other alternatives to guarantee the provision of service to the citizens of the mass system.

Given this situation, a meeting must also be called with the national government before the project to liquidate the system passes through the Bucaramanga Council.

The situation of this service is critical, it is getting worse, the Council reported in recent weeks that only 14 buses out of 236 are operating, the stations are deteriorated and abandoned, there are only 11 enabled out of 35 and unfortunately there are only 10 routes operating out of 40. At first they operated.
