According to the Army, ‘Grande’ had a criminal history of approximately 6 years at the service of organized armed groups and would be involved in the murder of two police officers in events that occurred in 2023 in Tumaco, Nariño.

“This subject would be carrying out his illegal activities under the guidance of the financial leader alias Majiño and would also be his right hand man, having as his zone of interference the mountain range municipalities of the department of Nariño, from where he “I was in charge of managing aid for the structure,” the Public Force said in a press release.

Among the crimes for which he is accused there are also targeted killings and other criminal actions in the towns of Llorente, La Guayacana and El Diviso, in the municipality of Tumaco, and in the rural area of ​​Barbacoas.
