Miguel Manjarrez, a biologist from the Administrative Department of Environmental Sustainability, spoke about what happened.Dadsawho announced that, “intensive patrols will be carried out in the area of ​​Playa delAirportto ensure the safety of visitors.”

He added that, “the reptile appears to have temporarily found refuge in this area, possibly seeking its way back to its natural habitat, which is generally fresher than marine waters, where food resources are scarce.”

Despite the efforts deployed by a team of biologists from the environmental authority Corpamag,To date, no trace of the reptile has been found.However, experts pointed out that, although it is not common to see this species of animal in this area, they have the ability to move through canals and brackish waters.

From the environmental authorities they assured that, “when temperatures begin to settle at 27 degrees, the alligators become mainly nocturnal. So it’s best to avoid that refreshing nighttime dip in unfamiliar waters when it’s hot.”
