In a joint operation, units of the Military GAULA, the CTI of the Prosecutor’s Office and elements of the SIJIN-Celit del Meta managed to capture Davinson Florez Cuello, alias “Chato” or “David”, leader of the Local CCF of the “Gonzalo” Front “Oquendo Urrego”. This individual had an area of criminal interference in the municipality of Villanueva, Casanare, and was wanted for homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms.
Alias “Chato” went viral a few months ago when he was included in Casanare’s most wanted list. He posted videos on social media mocking the authorities, and the Governor of Casanare even increased the reward of his own money for anyone who helped capture him.
In the same operation, Yaifa Tatiana Ramirez Vieda, alias “La Huilense”, a member of the local CCF of the “Gonzalo Oquendo Urrego” Front, was also captured. She has an arrest warrant for homicide, manufacture, trafficking and possession of firearms or ammunition.
These two people were involved in homicide, extortion and control of local drug trafficking activities in the municipalities of Villanueva (Casanare), Barranca de Upía (Meta) and Paratebueno (Cundinamarca). Alias “Chato” is linked to six homicide events carried out in the municipalities of Cabuyaro, Barranca de Upía and Yopal, highlighting among them the murder of a president of the community action board.
In addition, he is required by several prosecutor’s offices for crimes such as conspiracy to commit a crime. He is part of the Casanare most wanted cartel and has a current requirement before INTERPOL Colombia.
