Within the framework of the fight against drug trafficking implemented by the Ministry of National Security, through the permanent work of federal forces, the National Gendarmerie seized more than 10 kilos of cocaine hidden in a passenger transport.
Warned by information derived from previous investigations, members of the Arroyo Seco Road Safety Section, dependent on Squadron 46 “Rosario Victoria”, were carrying out vehicle control on the Rosario Buenos Aires highway, near the “General Lagos” Toll, when they stopped the march. of a bus that transported passengers from the city of Salta to the city of La Plata, province of Buenos Aires.
When searching the interior of the bus, following the reaction of the narcotics detector dog, the gendarmes found, under some seats without passengers, a bag with 10 kilos and 303 grams of cocaine.
Paying attention to the trail indicated by “Era”, it was possible to identify the owner of the bag, an individual who was detained, the Prosecutor’s Office on duty intervened and proceeded to seize the narcotic drug and the detainee’s cell phone.
