The national representative of Unión por la Patria for the province of Buenos Aires, Victoria Tolosa Paz, is in Salta and took advantage of the moment to explain the reasons why she voted against the Bases Law promoted by the Government of Javier Milei: “ We say no to the law because it means giving up political sovereignty, economic independence and social justice.” She thus expressed herself in a multi-party meeting with national legislators from different provinces, to analyze the political context and reflect on the Base Law and DNU 70/2023, which is developed in the Province.

The legislator celebrated the important meeting of women politicians and the possibility of debating in depth the basic law, the DNU and the fiscal package, and the reasons for the rejection of the Unión por la Patria bloc in the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation.

“We say no to the basic law, to the DNU and to the fiscal package because it means handing over the three flags of Peronism, which are Political Sovereignty, Economic Independence and Social Justice,” said Tolosa Paz in his presentation in the Parque Norte hall of the capital of salteña

With the participation of different senators and deputies who also expanded on the scope of the laws and the current Decree of Necessity and Urgency, Tolosa Paz said that from her bloc she was told no “because it does not benefit the Argentine people in any way, and fundamentally because we cannot grant delegation of powers to a person who says that the State is a criminal organization and that he wants to destroy it.”

“The State is public education, public health, human rights, the reconstruction of energy sovereignty, founding pillars of Argentina. We are going to say no to the privatization of our flag airline and to so many public companies that are strategic for building political sovereignty and economic independence, and we say no to the destruction of public employment, which are teachers, assistants, nurses, doctors in hospitals, security forces, everything that improves the living conditions of our people.”

And he added: “In addition, we strongly say no to RIGI because it delivers the natural resources of copper, gold, lithium, gas and oil that will allow us to develop.”

Legislators from Norte Grande also participated in the presentation, such as National Senators Lucía Corpacci (Catamarca), Florencia López (La Rioja), Carolina Moisés (Jujuy); Sandra Mendoza (Tucumán); Graciela De La Rosa (Formosa) and national representative María Parola (Formosa); and the vice president of the PJ of Salta, Gastón Galíndez.
