Paul McCartney and his return to South America apparently it’s just a matter of time before it becomes official. Although, unfortunately, the only lucky country so far would be Brazil again.
Just as he did almost a year ago, the person in charge of releasing the scoop was Norberto Flesch, a Brazilian journalist reputed to provide news about concerts in this area of the planet. In that context, this time Flesch assured that “November or December” will be the months chosen by the legendary former member of the Beatles.
“Start saving money,” said the journalist, thus ensuring that Macca’s arrival on the continent is a fact.
It would not be a surprise if Macca, in fact, ends up coming alone to Rio territory, just as he did last year. Despite that, it is not that Chile is already ruled out. What’s more, considering that the National Stadium is now available, the conditions are more suitable than in 2023.
Paul McCartney has visited our country four times, since 1993, his last visit being to Santiago in March 2019, precisely in the Ñuñoa colossus. However, if he were to make a comeback, the show, in terms of songs, should be close to the one he held in Brazil.
As we remembered, the composer of “Yesterday” played in Brazil in December 2023; specifically, at the Maracaná Stadium, in Rio de Janeiro, where he performed almost 40 songs, as is usual. Check out the list below.
