At the Karen Gallardo Pinto Sports Center, the Mindep-IND Atacama held this Friday the regional judo selection of the School Sports Games that determined the Atacameño under 14 team that will represent us in the National Finals of the discipline that will be held in Santiago.

The Seremi del Deporte, Arling Guzmán, together with Deputy Juan Santana; Ema Albanéz, representative of the Regional Governor Miguel Vargas; The Regional Councilors, Georgette Godoy and Daniela Quevedo, and the Director of the IND, Germán Acuña, awarded the athletes and congratulated them for their performance in this regional final, in which students from educational establishments from Copiapó and Tierra Amarilla participated.

“This is the most important event in its category in the country, it is a sports festival that brings together more than 3,000 public and private schools from all over Chile and has the participation of 160 thousand girls and boys in the sub 10, sub 12 categories. , under 14 and youth, so as the Government of President Gabriel Boric we are very happy to be able to organize them and thus provide more opportunities for development and growth to boys, girls and young people,” said Seremi del Deporte, Arling Guzmán.

Ladies: Maily Aguilera (36 k), Víctor Sánchez Cabañas School; Kairy Vega, (40 k) Víctor Sánchez Cabañas School; Constanza Olivares, (44 k) Fernando Ariztía Ruiz High School; Tiare Robledo (48 k), Luis Uribe Orrego School; Isabella Alfaro (53 k), Mercedes Fritis High School; Constanza Guerra (58 k), Víctor Sánchez Cabañas School; Estrella Tapia (64 k), Víctor Sánchez Cabañas School.

Boys: Lucas Fuentes (-53 k), Víctor Sánchez Cabañas School; Vicente Navarrete (58 k), Colegio Héroes de Atacama; Eduardo Rodríguez (64 kilos), Salesian Industrial School; Yahir Berrios (more than 64 k), Mercedes Fritis High School.
