Among his latest actions, Castañeda established the Salteña Flyer Association (ASV) in early 2021, of which he was its president. But his work in motorsports in our province goes back many decades.
From his desire to make motor sport grow, he promoted the creation of the Eduardo Chañe coffee circuit at the Martín Miguel de Güemes racetrack. He also carried out the routes that were carried out at the Las Lomitas dam, on the way to Colón and the Aero Club runway.
