The Ministry of Health continues to work to implement electronic prescriptions throughout the province, with the aim of facilitating access to medications and treatments in a more efficient and safe way.
Based on this determination, which responds to national regulations, a working group was formed that defined a roadmap to begin putting this new tool of the health system into practice. In this sense, the Secretary of Health of Chubut, Sergio Wisky, led an in-person meeting in Rawson in which representatives from different areas involved in this process participated.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of Institutional Management, Martín Pérez; the provincial Telehealth reference, Devora Flores Sahagún; and representatives of the provincial social work Seros, among others.
OBJECTIVES AND AXES TO WORK
The objectives of the implementation of the electronic prescription are: to advance the digitalization of the health system; facilitate access to medications and treatments efficiently and safely; and analyze the regulatory framework that allows the use and development of digital solutions.
Consequently, some of the axes that will be worked on in this line are the identification of authorized professionals; registration of computer platforms; national dictionary of medicines; and communication and access to electronic prescriptions.
