Through their social networks, Laura Ojeda, wife Nicolas Petro, announced that the president Gustavo Petro was in Barranquilla this Saturday, June 8. The reason for the president’s visit to the capital city of the Atlantic was the baptism of his son Luka.

“Today Luke Samuel received the sacred sacrament of baptism, child of God, you are blessed, you are great and you were born to bless. Thank you God and thank you to the whole family for always being there.” reads Ojeda’s publication.
In the photographs you can see President Petro with his grandson Luka Samuel, Nicolás and Laura. There are also photographs of the child with his parents and godparents, as well as with other relatives.
According to what can be seen in the images, the baptism took place in the church Immaculate Conception of Barranquilla, located in the North – Historic Center of the capital of the Atlantic.
It must be remembered that Nicolás Petro is being prosecuted for money laundering and illicit enrichment. The last thing that was known about the case is that the prosecutor in charge, Mario Andrés Burgos, was presented with a statement of charges by the National Commission of Judicial Discipline, by the alleged leak of the interrogation and capture videos of Nicolás.
