The governor of Chubut, Ignacio “Nacho” Torres, led this Saturday afternoon a delivery of homes in the commune of Aldea Beleiro. In his speech, the president spoke “of the value of the word” and recalled that when he was not yet governor and he toured the province on a campaign “we committed to integrating all the people of Chubut.”

The provincial secretary of Infrastructure and Planning, Nicolás Cittadini, also participated in the event in question; the mayor of the neighboring town of Río Mayo, Gustavo Loyaute; and the communal head of Aldea Beleiro, Patricia Tapia, who at the time of speaking thanked “the presence of the residents of the town and, especially, the permanent support of the governor.”

In turn, the head of the provincial executive assured that from the first day of his administration his commitment was always to “integrate the people of Chubut” and highlighted that “it is an enormous challenge, but not impossible.” Furthermore, he explained that each locality must “have the same possibilities of access to education, health or a housing solution.”

“For this reason, this is the first home in a series of deliveries that we are going to be making in the different towns of the province, as part of a much larger program that will lead us to each town having the same rights as any of the the largest cities in Chubut,” said Torres.

Telemedicine and connectivity

Continuing with his tour, the provincial leader visited the Aldea Beleiro health post and announced that “before the end of the year our commitment is to bring the necessary connectivity and everything that is needed so that residents can access equal and quality health care.” quality through telemedicine.”

In this sense, the governor of Chubut explained that “we all know the difficulties of having medical benefits in certain areas,” but he stressed that “today we have the technology to make it possible and thus prevent a boy born in the interior of our province from having less rights than a boy born a few blocks from the Obelisk”.

Along the same lines, Torres concluded the visit to the town by expressing his firm commitment to guarantee the prompt implementation of all the tools intended to implement telemedicine, with the firm purpose of ensuring in this way “that each resident of Aldea Beleiro, and from each of the towns in the province, have access to a clinical doctor, a psychologist or any other type of health consultation in real time, without the need to be transferred to another larger town.”
