What happened?
In the early hours of this Sunday there was a serious traffic accident in the North Coast Highwayat kilometer 13300.
The high-energy collision between two vehicles left two people dead and a third who is at risk of life after the road accident.

Accident left two dead and one seriously injured
The incident occurred on a section of the highway that includes the commune of Providencia at around 2:30 a.m. this Sunday, June 9.
The Traffic Accident Investigation Section (SIAT) of Carabineros is investigating the causes of the accident, however, preliminarily It is presumed that one of the cars involved had driven against traffic.which would have caused the fatal crash.

As for the victims, the two deceased people were in a vehicle, while the third person affected is in life-threatening condition and is being treated in a healthcare facility.
It is worth mentioning that both vehicles suffered significant damage after the strong impact.
At the moment, further information about the incident is unknown, so it has not been possible to establish if any of the drivers were driving under the influence of alcohol or if the effects of the rains had to do with the accident.
