Victories of Juventud Unida and Defensores del Norte

The teams of Juventud Unida and Defensores del Norte won yesterday in the continuation of the 8th date of the Annual Qualifying Tournament in First “A”, held by the Catamarca Football League.

With the “Malvinas Argentinas” stadium as the stage, Juventud Unida defeated Atlético Policial 4-3, in an intense and emotional match.

The “divine” scores were from Franco Bordón at 8′ and 74′, Marcos Agüero at 26′ and Martín Agüero at 45′. For the “xeneize”, César Sánchez scored at 16′ and 34′ and Gonzalo Darreche at 84′.

As an incident, at 46′ goalkeeper Elías Márquez (JU) saved a penalty from Julio Sacayán (P).

In the preliminary round and in a flurry of goals, the Defensores del Norte team beat Salta Central 7-4. The goals of the “norteño” were from Bruno Bazán at 3′, 6′ and 52′, Rodrigo Chávez at 7′, Braian Barrionuevo at 46′, Tomás Chayle at 55′ and Julio Monge from a penalty. In the “celeste”, Francisco Noriega scored at 15′, 45′ from a penalty and at 85′ and Maximiliano Heredia at 58′.

And at the Chumbicha Sports Center, in the Ascenso, the San Martín and Sarmiento teams tied 1-1.
