What is going to happen with the management of the roundabouts?

Rodríguez also addressed the issue of traffic control at roundabouts, emphasizing that Authority in this area lies exclusively with designated entities and cannot be usurped by individuals.

“The exercise of traffic control in the city is headed by a traffic authority, traffic authority cannot be usurpedjust as the authority of the police or other authorities cannot be usurped,” he stated.

Regarding the problem of the so-called ‘informal controllers’, the head of the mobility portfolio mentioned that possible solutions are being managed. “The idea is to offer job options to these young people, for example, in parking lots such as restaurants or within the employability fairs that we are organizing from the mayor’s office,” he explained.
