The event did not lack Cuban flags, nor posters with political messages, much less poetry, dance or a song that stimulated the joy of a humble, simple and hard-working people.
And precisely these types of spaces, stated Federico Hernández Hernández, president of the Provincial Defense Council, demonstrate the unity of Cubans around the Party and its main leaders, which is why he described the massive attendance of the people of Minas Gerais during the day as heroic. .
In the midst of the adverse weather conditions, he said, you have shown that you are children of Agramonte, so it can be seen in moments like these that the march of the Homeland is unstoppable.
In particular, he admired the local artistic talent, since its exponents demonstrated their loyalty to Cuba, inspired by the teachings of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, the guidelines of Army General Raúl Castro Ruz and the guidance of the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba. Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, to continue defending national sovereignty, he noted.
For her part, Yadira Vilató Rodríguez, president of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) in that municipality, highlighted that the forum acquires special relevance, since on a day like today, 157 years ago, Major General Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz defended his thesis to receive a degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Havana.
On this occasion, we raise our voices against Israel’s genocide in Palestine and demand the exclusion of Cuba from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
The new generations, he noted, remain faithful to revolutionary values and principles without allowing the influence of imported patterns in current Cuban society.
It is up to us, he argued, to combat crime, illegalities and corruption on a daily basis, to perfect the methods and styles of political-ideological work, since we have plenty of reasons not to give up our conquests no matter how enormous the challenges may be.
Finally, he highlighted the will of the people of Camagüey to advance along the path of the grateful with shame as the main combat weapon to defend the prosperity and sovereignty of the people.
During the Agramontine tribune of revolutionary reaffirmation, a group of people from Minas Gerais received the card that accredits them as militants of the PCC and the Union of Young Communists (UJC), while prominent workers in the electrical sector received the distinction for Por las Sendas de Agramonte.
