The Government of Venezuela has activated social aid flights to indigenous settlements of the Yanomami people, located in remote areas of the Amazonas state, reported this Saturday the operational strategic commander of the Fanb, Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Lárez explained in

“Bringing peace, health, well-being and total happiness to our Yanomami people, despite the genocidal measures of strategic paralysis (international sanctions) imposed by the north and its lackeys,” said the commander.

More than 110 Venezuelans from the Yanomami community were mobilized through these flights and received food.

According to independent estimates, more than 10,000 members of the Yanomami ethnic group live in forest reserves in the Venezuelan Amazon, where they preserve most of their traditions.
