The Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, today questioned Judge Sebastián Casanello’s decision to order the Minister of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello, to distribute food that was stored in State warehouses.
“No one explains to me what happened. It was up to the Federal Police and the Gendarmerie to carry out the raids and there was not a single expired food item. It was an offensive by false social movements. And in the middle, Justice came in to act as storekeeper, deciding how food is distributed. What does the judge know about how food is distributed?”he asked himself in an interview with Radio Rivadavia.
“They made us leave urgently and one can make a mistake, things are not done like that. Last week, that judge prosecuted a number of poverty managers who stole food for 20 years. He made one of lime and one of sand. Does the judge play politics with food? I don’t understand. Here the only ones against the wall are the movements that 20 years ago were taking the money. Now the Cathedral appeared with a table of food and the judge to distribute the food. They all showed up to protect managers from poverty. The famine began on December 10 (ironic). I’m furious. “There is no need to follow this,” said the minister.
Regarding the vote on the Bases Law, which will be discussed this Wednesday in the Senate, Bullrich stated: “The Base Law is necessary, because it is a country that did not always provide you with legal security. That is what is being asked for with this law. When all this is underway, the tax cuts will come. “Every government has been given some instrument to govern.”
The minister also referred to the sectors of Together for Change that do not support the Government: “Our voter spoke clearly, in the PASO and when we came third. We were old. People today are in the same place, they are crossing their fingers, biting their nails when they see that a lot of people are putting spokes in the wheel. The JxC voter wants the Government to follow its path.”
