The followers of cumbia groups appeared again on Saturday night and early today in the city of Corrientes and several of them ended up at the Police Station and their vehicles were kidnapped due to lack of papers. This was confirmed by police sources to EL LIBERTADOR.
Already in the early hours of this Sunday the 8th, the Corrientes Police mounted a control operation in the Jardín neighborhood, which was led by Commissioner Osvaldo Molina and had the collaboration of police officers belonging to the Motorized Immediate Response Group 4, cell phones Police Stations 9 and 17, as well as Municipal Transit personnel.
The operation to identify vehicles and people was mounted around Majul Plaza, where they noticed the presence of followers wandering and performing dangerous maneuvers, on motorcyclists and cars.
Several people were detained, although the exact number was not specified, and the staff of the Municipal Traffic Directorate filed infraction reports and removed a total of 11 motorcycles and one car from public roads for various infractions and irregularities that violated safety laws. road in force, including the lack of documentation.
In addition, the law enforcement agency indicated that prevention patrols were intensified in different sectors of the capital of Corrientes.
