Deputy Gerardo Huesen spoke about the challenges facing space in the province. What did he say about Jaldo.

Political preparations for the 2025 elections were launched. The national deputy Gerardo Huesenrepresentative of Fuerza Republicana and member of La Libertad Avanza, spoke on Buen Día about the strategy and challenges facing space in Tucumán.

“Tomorrow we have a commission and, as always, we are at the service of our president and all Argentines,” he began by saying. Regarding the encounter with the radicalism of Yerba Buena, he explained: “I see it with tremendous political maturity. I think it is about putting together a great front with the entire opposition united, facing the 2025 elections. We are convinced that this is the path to bring the best men and women who can continue with the transformation process that our country needs.

Then, regarding the situation in relation to the retirement reform, Huesen commented: “I would have liked the Independence bloc, led by the governor (Osvaldo) Jaldo, would have accompanied the national government. It’s a shame they didn’t attend the session. The government is willing to work for the benefit of Tucumán and other provinces, and they signed an agreement on public works. Nobility oblige, they should have been present.

If they consider the possibility of including Jaldo in the front, he said: “We do not rule out that possibility. We believe that the governor could maintain his party essences, but when we talk about a front, we talk about radicalism, the PRO and Fuerza Republicana, to generate a competitive alternative for both 2025 and 2027. The province of Tucumán deserves to have people who really work for the people of Tucumán.”

Base Law

When asked if he believes that the basic law will finally be approved, Huesen emphasized: “We hope that sanity prevails in the Senate and they stop being petty. The basic law is crucial for companies to invest in the country. The president needs the support from Congress to implement the measures necessary for economic growth.”

“The president is right to criticize the lack of support. Unión por la Patria constantly puts up obstacles. The base law is an excellent tool to promote investment and growth. I hope that legislators think about the well-being of Argentines and not their partisan interests,” he added.

Finally, regarding Jaldo’s support for the national government, he expressed: “Honestly, I have my doubts. His deputies did not appear in a key session, which shows that the support may not be genuine. We hope that support for the good for the province, but I have reservations about the sincerity of their support.
