On this occasion, the Colombian capital has been selected, for the first time, in sixth place among the ten best destinations in Latin America to enjoy a good dish; as well as a varied gastronomic offer, since in Bogotá there are not only numerous haute cuisine places and also different culinary options, both national and international.

The fact that Bogotá has been selected for the first time in the TasteAtlas list and that it has occupied sixth place proves once again that our capital is a wonderful destinationwith an attractive offer for tourists from all over the world, and that is located at the level of cities that are also a gastronomic reference such as Lima,” said Andrés Santamaría, director of the city’s District Tourism Institute.

This recognition is particularly notable since Bogotá is the only Colombian city present on this list and is positioned among the six most important culinary destinations in the entire subcontinent. In fact, it surpasses destinations with a wide culinary tradition such as Cancun, Mexico City and Mérida, in the Central American country, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The inclusion of Bogotá reflects, above all, the city’s ability to offer authentic food and outstanding experiences.
