Fourth year students from the Pedagogical Training Schools of the province of Sancti Spíritus develop their studies completion exercises through demonstration classes

In order to verify the skills and knowledge acquired during the training period, fourth-year students from the Pedagogical Training Schools of the province of Sancti Spíritus, develop their studies culmination exercises, through demonstration classes.

Carlos García Morales, Head of the Department of Vocational Training and Scientific Activity in the General Directorate of Education, said that on this occasion there are 266 students who began the evaluation period, which will take place until June 24, as established by the school calendar. .

“This is a process that is carried out in educational institutions selected for these purposes in each of the eight municipalities of Sancti Spiritus, many of them will even present their work in the schools where they have remained during their pre-professional practice,” he noted.

Of this number, 41 students will graduate from the Armando de La Rosa Polytechnic Institute, where they have been trained as Professional Technical Education Teachers (ETP).

In this sense, Maiquel Enrique Navarro, Head of the Department of this educational level in the province, explained that the young people will defend their work in the Polytechnics where they carried out their internship until now, together with their tutors.

He added that future teachers at this educational level will be linked to teaching starting in September, while at the same time they have a university degree directly awarded to continue their studies in Higher Education.

“During the training period we have had our sights set on providing new teachers with knowledge, skills, values ​​and abilities that favor their performance from the teaching-learning process,” said Enrique Navarro.

This new batch of young people who graduate from Pedagogical Training, whether from the Vladislav Volkov, Rafael María de Mendive Schools and the Armando de la Rosa Polytechnic itself, will be an injection of teaching force for General Education in the province.
