In the town of Mingueo, jurisdiction of the municipality ofDibullain La Guajira,a young man died after being struck by lightningWhile on the beach, the man died immediately.

The deceased was identified as Jhon Jairo Díaz, and according to some witnesses, he was an official of theNational Protection Unit(UNP), and also worked as a security instructor at an academy located in the city of Riohacha.

In fact, the man lost his life suddenly when he was hit by the natural phenomenon.

The episode occurred while Jhon Jairo Díaz was working, immediately the people who were close to the young man realized what happened and helped him.

The young man was taken to a health center where he was given first aid, but he arrived without vital signs. The removal of the body was carried out by a unit of the Intelligence section of theSijinwho transferred him to the morgue ofRiohacha.

Environmental authorities made recommendations to the entire population to take precautions when there are thunderstorms, especially in open areas such as beaches.
