He Córdoba City Council has just awarded – has selected the companies and has yet to formalize the contracts – the Remodeling works of the Pablo García Baena and Federico García Lorca schools. The first is the project of greater monetary importance. Capitulars has selected the firm Pinus to reform this educational center. It will undertake the work for 1.19 million. This amount implies a saving on the initial budget of the tender (1.34) of 150,429 euros. It is 11% less than the cost that had been set when the contest began. The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, which is the one that granted this money from Brussels in a competitive bidding process -the best projects are those that achieve financing-, awarded 1.18 million to remodel the CEIP Pablo García Baena.
The worksonce they start, will last five months. The works will consist of improvements in the energy efficiency of the property -this package of actions will be the one that absorbs the greatest expense-, in accessibility and in his state of conservation.
As for the plays of remodeling of the Federico García Lorca schoolfrom the tender opened by the City Council, came out winner the company Bibián Moreno Messia Works and Services. His economic proposal was to undertake this intervention in this educational center for 738,077 euros. This amount implies a reduction of 9.4% on the initial value of the tender. In hard and fast euros, it represents a saving for the public coffers of 76,601 euros.
Failed requests
He City Council obtained 707,282 euros to undertake the reform of this CEIP. As in the previous project, the playsonce they begin, they will continue for five months. The objective was to remodel five schools. He only got money for the two mentioned. In the competitive bidding process, the projects to improve the educational centers of Los Califas, Averroes and Enríquez Barrios did not obtain European funding.
