A 10-year-old girl died in Villa Allende, Córdoba after falling from a hammock in a local square. The minor fell to the ground and hit her head, becoming unconscious. That was why her mother immediately called the emergency service, who quickly went to the scene and performed resuscitation maneuvers. However, the girl had no vital signs and she did not recover.

According to what was stated by Mariela Bustos, mother of the minor, the accident occurred around 5:00 p.m. on Monday in the square located at the intersection of Jacarañá and Philadelphia streets and the girl would have been thrown by the impulse of the child. game, although the causes of the incident are still being investigated.

The body of the minor was transferred to the Villa Allende hospital to preserve her integrity, according to police sources.

Meanwhile, the hammock area was cordoned off and investigators began to carry out various actions to rule out any type of damage to the park’s equipment.

The government secretary of the Municipality of Villa Allende, Felipe Crespo, confirmed “this fills all the inhabitants of the city with pain. “Many neighbors came to the scene and showed their pain at this situation that is impossible to understand.” He then explained that “the hammocks are low and in perfect condition, the grass is short, but this little girl has had the misfortune of falling on her neck with this tragic outcome.”

He then explained that “the maximum efforts were made by all the services that came to the scene and for fifty minutes they tried to revive her by all means, but there was no way to get her out.”

Finally, he added: “We are going to accompany the family in their immense pain,” and emphasized: “What happened is incomprehensible.”
