Augusto Vidal, a master in exploring urban landscapes, has dedicated years of his life to perfecting his technique and capturing the essence of cities in his work. What is most notable about his creative process is his innovative use of recycled materials, such as flour bags, which reflects his commitment to the environment. This conscious choice demonstrates his desire to express his artistic vision without causing harm to the environment he so loves to represent.

Vidal’s distinctive technique, combining industrial waxes and glazes on recycled paper, allows his works to come to life with light, shadows and colors that evoke the complexity of urban landscapes. His artistic approach focuses on capturing the raw reality of the streets, promoting creative freedom and allowing his art to speak for itself.

Although some people may recognize familiar shapes in his works, the artist insists that his main objective is to capture observed reality, rather than transmit a spiritual message. Each stroke is intuitive and fluid, arising spontaneously during the interaction with the materials in his workshop. Despite the challenges he faces, such as the limitations of materials, Vidal finds creative resolution the key to overcoming any obstacle.

As an established figure in the regional artistic sphere, Augusto Vidal leaves a legacy of dedication and passion for art. He highlights the importance of constant work, determination and the search for purpose in each work he creates. Furthermore, he offers a unique opportunity for the public to experience his art and be inspired by his vision of the world.
