The measure corresponds to compliance with the instructions of the Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero Cruz, to reduce the consumption of electrical energy and make rational use of all energy carriers.
Likewise, on Saturdays and Sundays, all administrative activities in offices or work premises of the entities of this institution are interrupted, Pazo Camacho added.
With respect to internal functioning, he mentioned the reduction of lighting in the premises to a minimum and the restriction of the use of climate equipment, from 08:00 am to 11:00 am, with the exception of the server air conditioners, the technical part of the situational room, and the Command Post location, always under the responsibility of the IT department.
Meanwhile, greater use will be made of remote work according to the provisions of Resolution 71, “Regulations on remote work and Teleworking” of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of August 12, 2021.
The provincial delegate clarified that these and other measures will be in force until the energy contingency that the National Electroenergy System is going through improves.
