The facilities of Federico Silva Museum Contemporary Sculpture are ready to live a magical night on Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 14, with the presentation of the show “Brownish skin” of the group “Clockwork Circus”which will be starting at 6:00 p.m., which will have free entry for the entire public.

The show “Piel canela” is for all audiences and suitable for all ages, made up of 13 young people from different performing backgrounds and different circus disciplines, which came together to give rise to this show that was put on during the intensive course to approach the circus arts, directed by Gerardo Méndez “Foster” and supported by Victoria Dorado Novellino, both circus artists with more than 10 years of performing career. and teacher. And supported by the PECDA 2024 edition.

Clockwork circus emerged in 2017 in the city of Puebla, a collective that arises from the need to disseminate circus art through shows, workshops and activities to promote coexistence and non-violence; formed not only by artists specializing in circus disciplines, but also in dance, acting, plastic arts, among others.

In San Luis Potosí, they have carried out introductory workshops to circus art in different cultural spaces such as the Potosino Youth Institutesupported by the Cultural Development Program for Youth with the project “And the circus arrived in your neighborhood!”.

They also carried out the “Voices of the Desert” project, an oral narrative show with dance and circus focused on dissemination of stories, myths and legends of the Wirrárika culturesupported by the stimulus granted by the Support Program for Municipal and Community Cultures (PACMyC).

They participated in the First Week of Independent Theater of San Luis Potosí and at the Potosino Institute of Fine Arts, in August 2023, with the shows “I wish saying goodbye would not cause me sadness” among others.
