The Surcolombiana University announced that 300 vulnerable young people from Neiva and Campoalegre will be able to apply for the benefit.

As a great opportunity for young people in conditions of social vulnerability who have difficulties accessing higher education, they described an agreement signed between the Universidad Surcolombiana and the Amigos Como Arroz Foundation.
According to the rector of the most important university in Huila Nidia Guzmán Durán, the efforts carried out made it possible to reach an agreement that will result in opportunities for young people in the region to access academic services.
In addition to supporting access to training, beneficiaries will receive special attention in psychosocial support services for more than 300 beneficiaries and their families, the creation of a Mental Health Care Center and programs of sports activities, musical learning and productive occupation of the leisure.
It is expected that the program will be made the most of by potential beneficiaries, indicated the director of the Friends as Arroz Juerguen Mordhorst Foundation.
