On the morning of this Wednesday, several detonations were heard at different points of the Industrial University of Santander (UIS), Bucaramanga headquarters, so the institution’s directives ordered the immediate evacuation of all staff.

Vanguardia learned that hooded men took over the campus, detonated explosive devices and were preparing to create graffiti in various parts of the University.

For now, the reasons why the hooded men took over the University and forced the evacuation of the employees who carry out their work on the campus are unknown.

For more than a month and a half, the students were on cessation of activities, however, in a statement the University reported that as of Tuesday, June 11, they had to return to classes virtually, in order to finish the first academic semester. .
