Fabiana Cantilo, the most emblematic female voice of national rock, returns to Santa Fe in full band format. Fabi will delight us again with all the successes she has achieved during her more than 40-year career.
Fabiana began her career in the ’80s with the group Las Bay Biscuits and Los Twist and later was part of Charly García and Fito Páez’s band. Her career as a soloist is full of great hits such as “Mi Enfermedad”, “Mary Poppins”, “Nada es para siempre”, “Una Truce”, among others.
Between her first solo album, “Detectives”, from 1985, produced by Charly García, and the enormously popular “Algo mejor”, from 1991, produced by Fito Páez, Fabi established herself as one of the few female national rock stars.
In 2015 he released his 12th album titled “Superamor”, which featured the artistic production of Lisandro Aristimuño and the participation of Ricardo Mollo as a guest. That same year, Fabi received her second Konex Award in the category of Best Female Rock Soloist.
During 2016, Cantilo was part of “Giros”, 30 años, accompanying Fito Páez in each presentation. She participated in the filming of Hipersomnia, a film that premiered in March 2017 and edited “Proyecto33”, a double CD and live DVD, a musical journey where the artist takes a journey through her 33 years in music. Additionally, that year she won the Gardel Award for Best Female Rock Artist.
In its June 2018 edition, he was on the cover of the iconic Rolling Stone magazine in well-deserved recognition for his career and contribution to Argentine music. In 2019 she released her 14th album titled “Cuna de piedra” which she presented to Europe.
