Among the authorities present, it is worth mentioning president of the Superior Court of Justice (TSJ), Dr. Luis Eugenio Angulowho addressed some valuable words to those present and highlighted the validity of the function of the notary and the requirement for legal certainty, in the current context undergoing major economic and technological transformations.

In this sense, Dr. Angulo mentioned the bill for the Digitization of Notarial Activity in the Province of Córdobawhich, he maintained, “represents an initiative that aims to take advantage of the best virtues of these possible worlds: that of paper support and that of digital support.”

Finally, the president of the TSJ reaffirmed that the role of the notary is not limited only to the defense of legal security, but also contributes to the construction of social peace. On the other hand, among the speakers at the round tables, participated Dr. and professor at the Faculty of Law of the National University of Córdoba (UNC) and advisor to the College of Notaries, Claudio Bonetto, who referred to the criminal liability of the notary. In this way, Bonetto made reference to the impact that the analysis of extra-criminal law and the permissions and prohibitions established there should have, when analyzing the specific criminal liability of the notary (civil, notarial, registry law and technical standards). .

In addition, he mentioned the difficulties that arise in proving the notary’s fraud and the dogmatic consequences that this presents, and the problem of the improper and incongruous use of deliberate ignorance.

Finally, he made reference to the specific application to notaries of the crimes of ideological falsehood and fraud due to the circumvention of incapacitated persons.

Meanwhile, the great novelty of this important event that brought together notaries from all over the country, was the formal presentation of the new functionalities on the SIDANO platform: digital legalization, digital certifications, digital testimonials, and web signer and validator.
