Six laboratories and eight seedbeds were destroyed in Córdoba and Antioquia

Soldiers from the Eleventh Brigade of the National Army achieved the location and controlled destruction of six laboratories used for the processing of coca base paste and eight seedbeds belonging to the Clan del Golfo.

Initially, the soldiers located the illegal complexes for the manufacture of the alkaloid, three in rural areas of the municipalities of San José de Uré and Tierralta, Córdoba, and three more in the sector known as La Siberia, in Valdivia, Antioquia.

During the operations, 6 structures with 70 cans, 321 kilos of coca leaf, 43 gallons of coca base paste in process, 872 gallons of gasoline, 814 gallons of ACPM, 4 artisanal presses, lime and ammonia, among others, were destroyed in a controlled manner. other liquid and solid inputs.

This is how the finances of the organized armed group Clan del Golfo are considerably affected, since these laboratories had a monthly production capacity of approximately 744 kilograms of coca base paste, valued at more than 500 million pesos.

Likewise, in these same sectors of Córdoba and Antioquia, the troops found eight seedbeds with more than 29,000 coca leaf seedlings, whose approximate value would be 53 million pesos.
