Negative variations in fruits (mainly banana and orange), sugar and sunflower oil, among others, also had an impact. As for Goods, they registered an increase of 3.5%, lower than that of Services (7.5%). The interannual variation was 284.5% and 279.2%, respectively.

The official survey shows that Goods contributed to the variation in the general Level with 2.18 percentage points, which responded mainly to the variations in food, clothing and footwear and transportation – in particular, tomatoes, poultry, meat beef, baking products, coats and footwear for women, children and babies and fuel for vehicles.

Increases in take-out prepared food and cell phones were also highlighted. Regarding Services, its impact on the general level was 2.75 percentage points and is mainly explained by variations in housing rental, electricity, home repair services, cell phones, telecommunications package, cable television, primary education, urban and interurban collective and domestic service.
