The wait is over and the adrenaline is rising again in national territory, with the recent announcement of the long-awaited Spartan Race Chile racing calendar in its 2024 version.
New year new circuits, with four events already scheduled throughout 2024, Spartan Race promises to take the excitement of obstacle racing to the next level and offer unforgettable experiences for all participants, from the smallest to the most experienced athletes.
It should be remembered that Chile is the headquarters -exclusive in South America- within the 45 countries around the world that hold this competition. “Since 2014, Spartan Race Chile has been delivering exciting high-performance events, with constant growth and a diversification of challenges that have positioned Chile as an official ambassador of this competition in the region, which is why for this new edition we want continue to put representation at the local level at the top,” comments the 2024 Race Director, Martín Pizarro.
In its previous achievements, Spartan has stood out for the commitment, innovation and excellence that it has taken to offer a wide range of events over the years. From Sprint, Super and Beast distances, to the challenging Weekend Trifecta. It is worth remembering that in 2023, unique challenges such as the Multi Trifecta and the exclusive Spartan City were introduced, setting a standard of excellence in the obstacle course industry.
News 2024:
This year, Spartan Race Chile presents a series of four unmissable events that promise to elevate the competition to another level and offer unmatched challenges for all participants:
1.- [Nuevo]Pyts Park Trifecta Weekend and Spartan Kids (May 4 and 5): In the majestic surroundings of Pyts Park, participants will be able to live a new and renewed experience by facing the challenge of the Trifecta Weekend, while the little ones will be able to demonstrate their bravery in the Spartan Kids category. “We have decided to start with an ideal opportunity to enjoy with the family and immerse yourself in the excitement of the Spartan Race in an environment of nature at its finest,” highlights Pizarro regarding what will be the first date.
2.- [Inédito]Mall Sport Sprint Urbano and Spartan Kids (June 15): An experience never before done awaits at the Mall Sport, where runners will have the opportunity to challenge their limits in an urban environment: inside a Mall. For the first time in the history of Spartan Chile, the inside the mall sport commercial facilities, an ideal challenge for the boldest and fastest competitors.
3.- STAY TUNED – [SECRET SPOT] (August 24): After a pause since 2020, the organization is closing the third location, with which they hope to offer an unforgettable experience in an iconic place. “We hope to be able to announce it soon and have a high-level show,” says the Race Director.
4.- [Desafiante]Nido de Cóndores Trifecta Weekend and Spartan Kids (November 30 and December 1): The challenge intensifies and will experience its last date in the Nido de Cóndores, where the Trifecta Weekend will be held with the 3 main Spartan distances, also adding the Ultra 50K + 60 Obstacles distance for the more experienced athletes.
In addition to the exciting action on the track, each event will feature a festival full of fun and entertainment for all spectators, participants and their families. “We will have a food truck area to satisfy all cravings, an expo with Spartan merchandise, and exciting challenges with sponsors with the opportunity to win excellent prizes. The idea is to provide a 360° experience, around sport,” adds Pizarro.
