The Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy together with the provincial government is finalizing details for the repaving of the Bolivia Avenue of the Huaico neighborhood with reasons to improve the walkability of the people of Jujuy.

“We are working on the executive projects and how to tender them, but there is a decision already made by Governor Carlos Sadir to make a solidarity effort between the two states“said the Mayor in this regard.

In this sense Raul Jorge explained that “It is a necessary and just work demanded by the neighbors and in some way it means a latent possibility that it be transferred once it was repaved and with the possibility of having a parallel infrastructure that is transferred to the municipality”, detailing that currently it is a National and Provincial Route (former route 9) being a urban avenue as happens with many sectors of the city.

They will soon announce the start date of this repaving after bidding is called and it will subsequently be awarded as soon as possible, taking advantage of the good weather without rain in the area.

Other works in the capital

Governor Carlos Sadir and Mayor Raúl Jorge led the inaugural ceremony of the pavement of the Pachamama Avenue, sector of the 68 Homes of the Alto Comedero neighborhood in the capital of Jujuy, a work carried out jointly between the Provincial Government and the Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy.
