On the night of this Thursday, June 13, police in the rural area of Cajibio reported a strong attack by the residual organized armed group Jaime Martínez.
In audios shared on social networks, rifle bursts and explosives were heard. A uniformed man is even heard saying that they attack them with “machine guns, rifles, incendiary bombs and cylinder bombs.”
After the report, the National Army began maneuvers to provide support. The Colombian Air Force even carried out an aerial deployment.

For now, it is known that the harassment occurs at the El Carmelo Police station and that the armed group cut off the power supply to the inhabitants of the town.
