Rodrigo Tapari: the tropical scene is on at the Mercedes Sosa today
One of the most important exponents of the tropical scene, Rodrigo Tapari (photo) arrives today with his greatest hits, at 9 p.m., at the Mercedes Sosa theater (San Martín 479). A specialist in romantic ballads and cumbias, he became well known, in addition to his live shows, from his appearances on shows and reality shows such as Cantando por un Sueño, where he revealed his personal story of redemption. But before that he had been part of Ráfaga, until in 2018 he began his successful path as a soloist. He debuted with his album “En Vivo en Passion”, with romantic songs, and also rescued “Cerveza”, a more danceable cumbia that he had already performed with Ráfaga. With his next two albums, “En vivo” (2019) and “This love is so big” (2020), he has further deepened his style.
Unipersonal: a false Inca in Yerba Buena
Tonight and tomorrow at 9 p.m., at the Aconquija Cultural Center (1978 Aconquija Avenue, Yerba Buena), the one-man show “El Inca del Tucumán” takes the stage. This is the bizarre, unusual and dramatic story of the false Inca. In acting and dramaturgy, Juan Pablo Sosa; in choreography and direction, Magdalena Zerpa.
Through the rocks: folklore and something more
Tonight at 10pm Los Romanceros arrive at the El Alto de la Lechuza club (24 de Septiembre and Marco Avellaneda). Javier Bigliardo, José Rodríguez, Grito Mansero, Michi Rivero and Santiago Santos will also be there. Lucas Uribio, Canto Tucumano and Rienda Suelta are the proposals that La Peña de Yamil (España 153) offers tonight from 10 pm.
Live music: various and diverse proposals
Today at 8:30 p.m., the City Museum (Salta 532) invites, in the cycle The Music We Want, to the show by the band Tucubanos. At 9 p.m. Luciana Tagliapietra plays at La Gesta Cultural with the guest band San (direction by MP, EDET area). The best jazz series returns every Friday to Bar Ireland (Catamarca 380). At 9:30 p.m. Living Jazz Trío will open, with Claudio Giraud on guitar, Rony López on bass and Juan Escalante on drums. Meanwhile at 11pm at Bar North House (Corrientes and Laprida) on “Rock and Reggae Night” Game Of Songs and Don Vito will be presented. At 10pm at UtopíA Bar (Bernabé Aráoz 189) the band @Circo Sonic pays tribute to national and international rock. And at midnight Rey Peón plays in Josecuervo Tucumán (Miguel Lillo 350).
Monteros: peña at the Municipal Sports Center
Tonight, starting at 9:30 p.m. and at the Monteros Municipal Sports Center, a national club will take place that will serve as a preview of the traditional Monteros de la Patria festival, Fortress of Folklore. The grid announces the stellar presence of Cristian Herrera and Lucho Hoyos, who will perform in a trio format with Bruno Resino and Carlos Carrizo. The billboard also announces the recitals of Voz Sin Culpa, Papacho and Nueva Trova and the performances of the ballets El Chasqui and El Ceibo.
Embraced: milonga in the French Society
Tango invites you to spend the night at the Abrazados gala milonga that will take place from 10:30 p.m. at the Sociedad Francaise of Tucumán (San Juan 751). The proposal will be set to music by Emilia Saguir from Tucumán and José Luis Ángel from Salta, with a dance exhibition by the couple Juli Alonso and Diego Espinosa.
From Santiago del Estero: Camaleónicas presents album
“I choose freedom” is the album by the Santiago folkloric group Camaleónicas, made up of Ceci Escobar, Soraya Flores, Vale Ibañez, Vale Campitelli and Caro Nazar, which will be presented tonight, from 10 p.m., at Santos Discépolo (La Rioja 219). Northern folklore will also be in El Alto de la Lechuza (Marco Avellaneda and 24 de Septiembre) with the night of Los Romanceros, supported by Grito Mansero, René Rodríguez, Javier Bigliardo, Santiago Santos and the gauchesco reciter Michi Rivero.
Theatre: offer of Tucuman casts
At El Círculo del Magisterio (Las Heras 25) at 6:30 p.m. the Puppet Workshop School will do “El Sapito Naranjito” for the whole family. At 8 p.m., at the La Guitarreada Cultural Center (Chacabuco 77) there will be the comedy “Who Said Love Hurts?”, written and directed by Fabio Alberto Ruiz, with Mirta Monjes, Victoria Suárez, Onofre Galván, Silvia Quiroga, Silvana Racedo, Stella Maris Quiroga and Sergio García. Cristina Fiz Lobo will once again review her 60 years as an actress in the province from 9 p.m. in the Orestes Caviglia room (San Martín 251), when she performs her monologue “Humo… tiempo”, directed by Ricardo Gómez Madrid and the partition special from the singer Federico Imanol López. At the same time, in the auditorium of the Colegio Sagrado Corazón (May 25, 680) “Our School” will be performed, the play by Mario Ramírez directed by María José Stefani; Both play different characters alongside Luciana Torres, Beto López, Sebastián Torasso and Leandro Ortega to portray, with humor and irony, teachers, parents and students “in a dreamlike look at education, its value, its conflicts and paradoxes.” Teatro de Bolsillo is the proposal that tonight, from 9:30 p.m., will return to La Colorida (Mendoza 2,955), with a series of four short monologues that cover classic and contemporary texts, comic and tragic, in a traveling proposal where you will visit every corner of that theater room. Leona Suárez performs (with a fragment of “Macbeth”, by William Shakespeare); Julieta Ascárate (“We all have the same story”, by Franca Rame); Lucas Ferrán Gómez (“Celular”, by Pablo Albarello); Sol Alonso (“L’audición”, written by the same actress) and Ezequiel Nasci (“Morality of the Blind and the Cripple”, by Darío Fo), with Ramiro Trejo acting as master of ceremony. Also at 9:30 p.m., at Teatro de la Estación de Concepción (Heredia and Italy), Natalia Yapura, Carla Marengo and Carla Greta will star in the therapeutic comedy by Víctor Hugo Cortés “Estresadas”, co-directed between the playwright and Benjamín Tannuré Godward, about three women -close to fifty- who are burning with stress, but will look for a way to get out together of the emotional pit in which they find themselves.
“Condenser”: dance at the Puerto Cultural Libertad
“A movement karaoke, or perhaps a stand-up dance, or simply a contemporary dance piece.” All that, and much more depending on each look, could be “Condenser” (photo), the work that will be restored at 9:30 p.m. in Puerto Cultural Libertad (Las Piedras 1,850). “Play with the bizarre, the poetic and the playful; with stories of her own and other people’s experiences, accompanied by microphones that expand and connect stories and moments,” she adds. Luján Arroyo, Daniel Corres, Luciana Villafañe and Aráoz will be responsible for the presentation.
Casa Luján: Alta Cumbiancha festival
The patio of Casa Luján (Saavedra 74) will be transformed into a popular music dance floor with the Alta Cumbiancha festival, which will last between noon and 8 p.m. The opening will be Circómicos, followed by Marta Recibidora, Los Papachos and La Garganta Cumbiera, to finish with open microphone for karaoke.
Plastic: two exhibitions at the Virla Center
Today at 8 p.m., in the Semicircular Room of the Virla Cultural Center (May 25, 265), the Gracielo Sacco Collective’s exhibition of contemporary art “The purpose is not entertainment” will be inaugurated, by Juan Bracamonte, Diego Ramiro Ruiz Villarreal and Jubal Caram. “Collective organization and grouping of artists as a trench. Resistance and management of anger through the graphic image: contradiction, parody, disenchantment and humor as a poetic act”, they claim as principles. Half an hour before, in the Small Room, the exhibition “Apresamiento” will be opened, with paintings by Rodrigo Alves.
Tafí Viejo: music in Miter Square
From 6 p.m. the patron saint festivities will continue in Tafí Viejo dedicated to San Antonio de Padua. In Miter Square there will be live music and dance, with different rhythms (from rock to jazz, among others) with free admission. There will be performances by soloists, groups and ballets from the LS Workshop, Ghada Escuela Amira Arabic dance studio, Las Rumberas, AC Amunet, Rubén Meuli, José Cardozo, Julián Melo Tell, Giovanni Costello, Jesús Vildoza, Vramy, Eugenia Nich, La Chicho, Black LP, Barrio, Golden Shag, Tripas Calientes, Pablo Pacifico and the Bonnavenna Blues Band, Garuffa Dixie Band, Vino Juana, Equalia, D’fasados, Marianística, Pilar, Magalén Martínez and Nancy Jaime.
Live shows: songs and rock
Tonight, Los Timo will bring their tribute to Joaquín Sabina and Joan Manuel Serrat to Lo de la Paliza (Laprida 181), from 10 p.m. In the field of rock, Hombres de Marte and David Corti will perform at Brotes Casa Cultural (Santiago del Estero 179 ). Niño Fungi will perform at CiTá Abasto de Cultura (La Madrid 1,457), with Alejandro Kaplán, Juan Manuel Pajón and Daniela Zunino. In alternative music, there will be the Salamanca Or Not party at Virgen de la Merced 611, with the line up by Justina Garay, Gabo Monky and Sr. Fat. Within folklore, at Lula Bar in San Isidro de Lules (Libertad y España) there will be Rescoldo Folk, the duo of Miguel Ángel Rocha and Jonathan Ángel Amaya.
Incaa Space: they project “Invisible Stories”
In the Incaa Space of the Hynes O’Connor room of the Ente Cultural (San Martín 251), at 8 p.m. “Historias invisibles” by Guillermo Navarro will be screened, with a script inspired by real events about human trafficking. Cecilia is 16 years old, comes from a poor family in Catamarca and is attracted by a boyfriend much older than her. Jorge, her father, due to the lack of collaboration from the Police, loses all hope of finding her until he receives a call from her daughter and decides to undertake a 2,000 kilometer journey to rescue her. Paula (18 years old) is a middle-class girl from Mendoza who is violently kidnapped and her mother, in the absence of help from the authorities, decides to go around brothels looking for her, even though she has to face everything and everyone. Eleonora Wexler, Vanesa González, Antonella Ferrari, Mariano Bertollini, Pablo Pinto and Pablo Tolosa star.
