A working visit of the Government in the country is made to the province of Cienfuegos to learn details of the behavior and implementation of the main government programs, plans and projects in the territory.
Chaired by Nancy Acosta Hernández, director of the Office of Attention to local bodies of Popular Power, and Yolexis Rodríguez Armada, Provincial Governor, the initial meeting became a setting to learn about compliance with the instructions issued in the government visits in 2019. 2020 and 2022.
Eight working commissions will review for two days, both in the province and in all municipalities, issues related to the economy, health, agriculture, education, among other sectors.
Governor Yolexis Rodríguez Armada also explained details of the development of programs in Cienfuegos such as housing construction, food production, health indicators such as the infant mortality rate, life expectancy at birth (in this territory at 78 years). , and the degree of aging of the population, currently at 23.9 percent.
The working commission focused on economic issues debated the exportable items in the province, the new economic actors and their relationship with state companies, the results of the main economic indicators at the end of the month of May, among other topics.
