The Rafael Azcona Municipal Library has organized the ‘Plaza de los Tales’ initiative for this summer, which will run from today, June 14, to July 6. These are eleven oral storytelling sessions that will take place in three different spaces in the city: the La Rosaleda reading point, the La Pajarera reading point, and the entrance plaza to the Rafael Azcona Library.

Most of the stories are aimed at a family audience, although three sessions have also been scheduled for adults. Specifically, ‘The Plaza of Stories’ begins this Friday at the Azcona Library (at 7:30 p.m.) and tomorrow Saturday at the La Pajarera Reading Point (at 12:30 p.m.), in both cases with the help of Carioca, who will offer ‘Stories and kites’ (for family audiences).

It is a show of “stories supported by dolls, objects and musical instruments that will parade in front of an animal facility to fly high with their imagination like kites. A universe of animal poets, restless words, visual poetry and rhythms to play with. A show to laugh, dream and have fun, full of surprises.
