In a scene of horror and violence, the body of a woman was found with signs of torture and decapitated in the municipality of Santo Tomás, in the east of the department of Atlántico.
The macabre discovery took place in a home in the 7 de Agosto neighborhood, an area located in a marginal area of the municipality.
The initial report from the Atlantic Police detailed that, after receiving a call about a fight inside a house, the uniformed officers went to the scene and found a chilling situation.
At the site, they found a man next to to the corpse of the woman, who was tied with ribbons and whose head had been severed.
The victim was identified as Nadia Rosa Pertuz Castro27 years old, resident in Santo Tomás.
According to preliminary information, she had arrived at the house three days ago accompanied by two people, including the man who was captured at the scene, which corresponds to David Zamora, 24 years old and of Venezuelan nationality, who was captured.
The first hypotheses handled by the Atlantic Police
The commander of the Atlántico Police Department, Colonel Jhon Urrea, He stated that the first investigations suggest that the crime could be related to a settling of scores linked to microtrafficking issues.
“We are establishing the fact, but, apparently, the first versions indicate that everything would be happening as a result of settling scores due to micro-trafficking issues,” said the officer.
The community of Santo Tomás is shocked by this brutal crime, while the authorities continue with the investigations to clarify the facts.
