Corrientes: they repair docks and place refractory blocks in the Belgrano corridor
This is an action developed by the Ministry of Infrastructure, with the aim of improving passability on one of the roads with the highest vehicle circulation in the city. These tasks are added to the patching and curb repair plan.
The Municipality of Corrientes advances with the development of the Belgrano corridor with the execution of various works. To the comprehensive patching plan, the repair of the access and exit docks was added, both on the southern and northern sides, which will have the respective signage and installation of refractory studs and posts.
This is an action developed by the Ministry of Infrastructure, through the Undersecretary of Public Works and Services, with the aim of improving passability on this neuralgic road that has a high daily circulation of vehicles.
“We are working with the municipality’s Traffic and Road Safety, so that these docks are visible and allow the driver to circulate, reducing the possibility of making a mistake, and not causing any type of damage to another driver or to their own vehicle. “said the Undersecretary of Public Works and Services, Jorge López Monaje.
In that sense, he maintained that “4 centimeter high reflective studs and demarcating road posts are placed, so that it is visible from a good distance so that when the driver wants to enter or exit through the Belgrano Corridor dock, he has a wide view.” .
The official assured that the objective “is to put the Belgrano Corridor in good condition, which is traveled by trucks, vehicles, and is the obligatory passage for everything that is the domestic and foreign trade of the country that runs through this area.”
Likewise, the Undersecretary of Works and Public Services explained that “in the first stage we will advance along the avenue to Chacabuco and in a second stage we will continue to the Rotonda de la Virgen, which is the same objective that we are proposing with the patching of the city and the repair of cordons.”
BATCHING PLAN
These tasks are in addition to the repair works on the deteriorated pavement on the Belgrano corridor. This is the intervention on the central bands (north and south) of Independencia, Pedro Ferré and 3 de Abril avenues, from Chaco Street to Chacabuco Avenue, in a first stage.
The work was extended on 3 de Abril Avenue, from Chaco to Artigas Avenue, with the repair of curbs and placement of cold asphalt paste, to benefit road safety.
In addition, on Independencia Avenue, from Artigas to the Rotonda de la Virgen, the repair of the asphalt and the sealing of joints on half the road of the central bands has already begun.
