Diana Mejía, owner of Artisan Coffeetold about the plans he has to expand his business during the Exposolidaria fairwhich will take place until this Saturday.

“We want to promote our product, which is 100% organic, from here in the capital because as such we have not expanded since our local in Campecheand I think we have a great opportunity in the city because it is one of the largest coffee consumers in all of Colombia,” he said.

In addition, Liz Vanessa Sierrawho is one of the youngest entrepreneurs in the department at only 10 years oldmentioned that he wants to instill other young people in the world of baking.

“My love for baking was born at school and that is why I now dedicate myself to making brownies, cookies and other desserts. I like to learn a lot about cooking and I want to transmit that to other children. In addition, I want to have the opportunity to raise the name of the department in high-caliber festivals such as Barranquilla flavor”, he commented.

In turn, the governor Eduardo Summer He highlighted the effort of each Atlantic citizen to expose their products and services to the citizens, within the framework of the department’s birthday.

“Our department is turning 119 years old and what better way to celebrate it than with all these vibrant people who are present at the Peace Square and that boosts its economy through its own businesses. I have seen many young people with their products and it is nice to see that many of them have already defined a clear direction for their future, that is the spirit of our entrepreneurial Atlantic people,” he commented.

For its part, Manuel Fernández, president of the Barranquilla Chamber of Commercementioned that among the actions being carried out to strengthen the ventures of Atlantic residents is a sales platform.

“Within this new platform, entrepreneurs in the department will be able to sell their products with greater organization. The important thing is that we will be able to be in constant contact with all the businessmen and provide them with what they need. The final result obtained with all this is to show the results generated by the public-private alliances in the Atlantic“, said.
