The alleged bomber was captured in a joint action with the National Police on a public street in the Ospina Pérez neighborhood, in Cúcuta. In the procedure, a revolver, six cartridges, a fragmentation grenade and a cell phone were seized.

The Prosecutor’s Office charged him with the crime of aggravated criminal conspiracy, terrorism; and manufacture, trafficking and carrying of weapons for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces or explosives; and manufacturing, trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition.
