The announcement was made by the coach of the Colombian National Team, Néstor Lorenzo, where he provided details about the players who will be in the Copa América.

The coach of the Colombian National Team, Néstor Lorenzo, defined the 26 players who will compete in the Copa América that will begin on June 20 in the United States. The tricolor team had been working with 28 players for the June friendlies against the United States and Bolivia, but two had to leave that list.

Néstor Lorenzo announced that midfielder Sebastián Gómez and defender Yerson Mosquera were left out of the call, taking into account that they are the ones with the fewest minutes in the selection process.

“Well, the truth is that it’s a shame because they have been part of this process, this microcycle and they are two exceptional players with a great future,” said coach Néstor Lorenzo about his decision.
