A spectacular accident involving three trucks occurred in the early hours of this Saturday on the National Highway, near the province of Sancti Spiritus.
Despite the spectacular images, witnesses report that there are no deathsalthough it is not clear if there were any injuries.
A video recorded from a bus that passed by the place showed the sorry state of the vehicles involved, which were still in the area of the accident on Saturday morning.
Other images posted by witnesses in the Facebook group Car Accidents documented on site How were the trucks involved in the accident, in which according to the report of users on social networks he was involved? a Scania cargo truck and two passenger trucks.
“Tremendous accident between Punta Diamante and the Fomento entrance in Sancti Spíritus. Three trucks involved. There are no deaths at the moment according to the authorities”noted Internet user Julio César Cárdenas in the aforementioned group.
A witness who passed by the place this Saturday morning indicated that there were many cans on the ground that looked like beer.
The son of one of the drivers said that his father and the friend who accompanied him only suffered “hits” but could have died, all because of a “headless man who was taken,” according to the family source.
“Thank my God they are alive, the car is of no further use,” he added.
“His father was born. I was the first to get there. That was ugly, the man’s face was full of wounds from the glass,” noted one commentator.
Some sources placed the accident at kilometer 210 of the Highway, through Placetas, and another at kilometer 311, through Fomento.
At the time of writing, there are no other details available about the incident.
