The Union CSIFhas reported that the works councils of SSGA and UTE TSI, winners of the SAS medical transport in Córdoba, have agreed postpone indefinite strike which was scheduled for next June 24 after hhave reached an agreement with the aforementioned companies in the Extrajudicial System for the Resolution of Labor Conflicts of Andalusia (Sercla).

As reported in a note, the Private Company Sector of CSIF Córdoba details that This agreement includes 18 points which both SSGA and UTE TSI commit to complying with during the summer. “We want give a vote of confidence to the companies with this postponement of the strike, but we have already warned that, if the agreed points are not satisfied in their entirety, we will call a strike again in defense of the interests and rights of the entire workforce and the quality of the service. of medical transportation that citizens receive in our province,” underline the presidents of the SSGA and UTE TSI business committees, Sergio Rosa and Juan José Caballero.

Working day and breaks

CSIF points out that on September 10 a new Sercla will be held in which the level of compliance with the agreed points will be analyzed, among which are an ordinary working day in scheduled services not exceeding eight or nine hours and breaks of 30 minutes for these workers and two hours for staff who have 24-hour days. Likewise, companies must balance shifts equitably within a maximum period of two months, as well as communicate a shift change 5 days in advance and pay a night shift bonus to all workers who are on duty between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

The document that was agreed upon yesterday also includes the adaptation of the facilities where the workers are located, the replacement of the uniforms of the professional who requests it, carrying out overtime only on a voluntary basisthe recognition of seniority and the implementation of training courses for members of the health and safety committee, among other measures.
