Authorities of the Ministry of Health of Río Negro and the “Dr. Pedro Moguillansky”, from Cipolletti, repudiate the acts of violence and aggression suffered by two nurses from the public system when they provided assistance to a person who was admitted, on guard, with a gunshot wound. The corresponding complaint was made by the Directorate to Prosecutor’s Office No. 4 of the city.
The incident occurred during the early hours of yesterday in the hospital guard when individuals, who were accompanying the injured man, began to verbally attack and hit two health workers. One of the nurses suffered blows to the head and back and the second received injuries from a sprain in one of his hands.
Minister Ana Senesi and director Fabián José Pérez, in charge of the institution, expressed their “total repudiation and strongly rejected any level of aggression and lack of respect for the people who work for the well-being of the population.”
The hospital management asked the security authorities to reinforce the presence of troops, given the concern about the events.
